Three down, one to go...

Well, by tomorrow afternoon, I will be home (thankgod). While I've enjoyed my nephew, I don't necessarily (as is evident in these posts) enjoy being here. I'm going to make a suggestion which will more than likely be 'unacceptable', should my sister go with my sister and mom to the Bahamas next year.

I have a feeling there are going to be repercussions for this whole issue. I spoke to my sister last night. When she asked if Anthony was doing all of his chores, I told her 'no' - that I was doing them. She asked me why that was... that he needed responsibility and that she didn't want me doing them. I told her that I sit around this house and do nothing all day and that I could do them. I sensed a bit of irritation in her voice after I mentioned this. I don't remember what she said exactly, but the tone to the voice as one that suggested she was acknowledging my answer as one where I was showing a strong dislike for being here.

She also asked me if I was enjoying the food that she had purchased for me. I told her yes... but there would be alot left over (stuff she normally wouldn't eat) when she returns. She asked me why. I told her because I'm not active around here at all as I would be at home and because of this, I wasn't as hungry. Again... I heard a tiny bit of dislike with my response (tough shit). I wasn't trying to be sarcastic... I was just stating the facts.

I have been trying to keep busy around here... but there is only so much cleaning you can do. Yesterday, I moved all of my sisters living room furniture and vacuumed underneath it. Well... I'm sure you get the idea. I also spent a good deal of time on the computer - probably a total of 4 hours... on and off throughout the day.

My nephew and I have created a Sims family that resembles Mike and myself - equipped with 5 cats. It's been a riot, to say the least. Wow... a cyber family just like me. My cyber cats have formed their own dispositions pretty much matching their own. The computer has done this... not me. This game is a riot and is rather addictive. But the game is not Mac friendly.... it also requires game-savviness. Something that is instinctive for a 13 (14?) year old boy, but not an old fart in her 40's.

Well... that's it for now. One more night *sighs impatiently*
